Tallinn Becomes the Stage: Ghetto Games with Its Most Ambitious Programme Yet
Ghetto Games Tallinn will return to the centre of Tallinn on July 18 and 19, bringing together international street sports, dance, combat sports and entertainment in a two-day programme featuring representatives from 14 countries.
The event will include Ghetto Football 5v5, Ghetto Basket Tallinn Quest, Ghetto Dance and Ghetto Fight, alongside partner activities and special zones from LIDO, Dzintars and Tupla.
Saturday, July 18
The opening day will run from 12:00 to 22:00.
Ghetto Football will begin with the U10 tournament at 12:00, followed by an open amateur 5v5 competition from 16:00 to 22:00. Teams from Estonia and Latvia will compete alongside football-themed challenges connected to the 2026 World Cup and the Tupla Challenge, offering a prize of €1,000.
The international Ghetto Basket Tallinn Quest will also begin at 12:00. Teams from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Ukraine, Georgia, Germany, Mongolia and the United States will compete for the main prize — a trip to Lausanne.
The first day will feature the group stage of what is expected to be one of the strongest international tournaments in Ghetto Basket history.
Ghetto Dance will take place from 13:00 to 22:00. The daytime programme will include preselections and U12, U16, Open, All Styles and VIP battles.
The evening main event, running from 19:00 to 22:00, will feature VIP battles, semifinals, a judge showcase and the finals. Leading dancers from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland will take part.
The competition will be judged by a legendary French old-school dancer with extensive international experience, including a Juste Debout victory in 2000.
Sunday, July 19
The second day will run from 9:30 to 20:00.
The day will begin at 9:30 with Run for Fun, a community run starting from Vabaduse Väljak and inviting participants of all levels to kick off the event with energy, movement and a shared sporting spirit.
The Ghetto Basket Tallinn Quest will continue with the playoffs and finals, where the winner of the trip to Lausanne will be decided. The programme will also include another Tupla Challenge with a €1,000 prize.
Ghetto Football will begin with the U12 tournament at 12:00, followed at 16:00 by the 5 Star Cup — a special invitational tournament featuring teams formed by well-known local personalities and Estonian stars.
The purpose of the 5 Star Cup is to use the influence of popular public figures to inspire young people to become more active and participate in sport.
From 15:00 to 20:00, Ghetto Fight will present an international combat sports programme with a special football-inspired concept.
Fighters from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Cameroon will compete, with the 61 kg Grand Prix serving as the main attraction.
Among the Estonian fighters to watch are Andreas Mugu, Romet Stenfeldt and Kristofer Tammevali.
Ghetto Games Tallinn will offer two days of free-to-watch international competition, youth participation, entertainment and street culture in the heart of Estonia’s capital.
